  • Provide high touch support to employees in the workplace. This includes, providing employees with tools, support, information, and wayfinding.
  • Provide a warm welcome to all employees and guests, leaving them with a positive and professional first impression.
  • Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with end users and cross functional colleagues.
  • Act as the first line of response to user questions, troubleshoot issues, and follow up as required.
  • Regularly assess space readiness, ensuring workspaces, conference rooms, and offices are properly equipped and employee ready. This includes performing daily walks of work areas as well as scheduled, documented inspections.
  • Function as the "eyes and ears" of the workspace and proactively submit work orders to report repairs, required maintenance, broken or missing furniture before an end user is impacted.
  • Perform workspace audits within the required timeframe to document deficiencies and file tickets to correct these deficiencies.
  • Support with site event set ups. This includes connecting with requestor when event is requested to ensure they have provided all the pertinent information, planning to set up the event in the appropriate amount of time, confirming set up with requestor upon completion, breaking down/resetting the space after the event/meeting, and following up after with the stakeholder for feedback.
  • Help educate employees and visitors on equipment, processes, space use, workplace protocols, and etiquette.
  • Ensure complaints, questions, concerns, and suggestions from employees are addressed and conduct follow-up, if needed.
  • Obtain voice of the customer data (quantitative and qualitative) to capture service needs. Share information with managers, as relevant.
  • Follow escalation protocols, having all required knowledge of cross functional teams' responsibilities
  • Identify and escalate process improvement opportunities to manager and collaborate on new, innovative solutions.
  • Perform audits and input data for building maintenance and space audits.

Important experience and education
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in facilities support, hospitality, retail, customer service, or a college degree
WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May be required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel from floor to floor and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery including, but not limited to, telephones, computers, fax, and photocopy machines; regularly required to walk, talk, and hear. Additional physical demands include abilities to frequently use a step ladder and push equipment carts in narrow areas.
