Job Title: Bearing Assembler

Manager: Production Supervisor

Hours: Monday - Thursday; 5:30am - 4:00pm

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

Assembles bearings and spindles for all FECON attachments.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Builds bearing housings.
• Builds sub-assemblies that go into the finished product.
• Pulls parts and puts them away.
• Tracks, records, and maintains inventory of bearing assembly parts and materials.
• Packs orders and manages other additional warehouse duties, as needed, in order to fulfill customer needs.
• Works closely with assembly to assure proper bearing inventory is maintained.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to understand methods sheets and documented work instructions.
• Ability to work off a schedule and record assembly data.
• Uses overhead cranes and jib cranes.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Hydraulics experience is a plus.
• Ability to use small hand tools.
• Must be quality and safety driven.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work successfully with little supervision.
• Must also be reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
• Prior experience with 5S and Continuous Improvement is a plus; however, this will be trained.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school training is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical assemblies.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely use and lift items weighing fifty (50) pounds.
• Most work performed standing at floor level.

• This is a first shift position. Hours for this position are 5:30a - 4:00p, Monday-Thursday. Some overtime is required.
