RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Bank Payment Operations Manager in Boston, MA.What we are looking for:
  • Leads and oversees payment processing teams in their operational performance, holding them accountable for qualitative and quantifiable results
  • Monitors and reports on Service Level Standards performance and other SLA's
  • Provides supervision to and directs the activities of their employees; performs supervisory tasks such as performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; develops work schedules; provides necessary training and coaching
  • Assesses needs of department and related roles/responsibilities and skill sets required Hires key talent and coaches Team Leads, Analysts and Supervisors to effectively perform in their roles and ensure a productive, transparent and healthy environment
  • Provides insights and communicates to team on a regular basis
  • Anticipates future resource needs and plans accordingly
  • Provides technical support and assistance to Leads and/or Supervisor helping to troubleshoot and determines how and when to escalate issues; ensures staff perform their activities in compliance with bank policies and procedures, and that documentation and recordkeeping is accurately and properly maintained
  • Provides technical and operational expertise
  • Actively pursues processing improvements to improve our efficiency and ability to scale
  • Drives projects and initiatives necessary to improve our execution and ensure expense control Routinely participates in leadership calls and cross organizational work teams
  • Ensures monthly and quarterly management reporting is completed timely
  • Ensures quality and risk controls are met and that regulatory and applicable industry/clearinghouse requirements are met


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5+ years banking operations to include direct experience in payments
  • AAP Required
  • Wire and ach experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of NACHA Operating Rules, Regulatory requirements and FFIEC guidance surrounding payments
  • Intermediate to advanced project assignment management skills
  • Computer skills (fluency with traditional software programs like Microsoft Office)
  • Intermediate-advanced knowledge of general banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies and procedures
  • Intermediate -advanced written and spoken communication skills
  • Previous experience supervising a team of employees in addition to previous experience supervising managers and supervisors
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of core banking i.e. FIS, FIS ACH Tracker, and FEDLINE
