Primary Purpose:




The back-flusher position is responsible for checking, inspecting, and verifying counts on Opti Packs in Fascia. When the pallets are reviewed for accuracy, the back-flusher makes labels to back-flush pallets into inventory. They will be required to complete all responsibilities in accordance to SOX Compliance Standards.




Essential Functions:



* This position requires that back-flusher to get familiar with all Optic Pack parts, and be able to identify them.
* The ability to learn and operate a RF Gen LRT Gun and JDE computer system.
* Requires that individual be able to read and understand American Wood's WO's and production schedule layouts.
* Compares, identifies information and counts, and measures P/N' to ensure correct part was created by production.
* Understand and be able complete Cardex reviews against back-flushes at the end of day, and reconcile.
* Affixes labels on opti packs and ensure all labeling is correct with back-flushing.
* Examines incoming pallets for accuracy to ensure materials documentation match, and notify management when errors or incomplete information is discovered.
* Assist with strapping completed pallets, as needed.
* Will occasionally lift and carry from 5 to 10 lbs. within 3 to 10 ft. distance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:



Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Experience: 1 -- 2 years of previous work experience in Inventory Control.
Skills: The ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
The ability to work independently and in a team work environment.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
The ability to properly assess and prioritize tasks.
They must have the ability to lift 5 -- 75 lbs. and push/pull 40 -- 50 lbs.



This position requires the ability to effectively communicate information both verbally and in writing with other employees.
