Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Physics at the University of Miami invites applications from highly qualified persons for a faculty position in experimental Condensed Matter Physics. This appointment will be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to begin Fall 2023. Current departmental research in this area involves transport, magnetic and ultrafast laser spectroscopy of novel materials with potential device applications. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or related field, a demonstrated record of research achievements, and a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The physics department is located within the University's attractive Coral Gables campus in the greater Miami area and has a wide-ranging research expertise and established Ph.D. program.
