Summary

Individual will be responsible to ensure Global Oncology Congress tactical execution is aligned with the overall Global Congress annual strategic objectives. This person will be responsible for planning and execution of key global oncology congresses activities. Individual will support coordination and collaboration across Global and Regional cross-functional Teams and agency partners to ensure the successful execution of global congresses to meet corporate goals and strengthen perceptions of the DS Oncology Portfolio.

Responsibilities

Congress Content and Asset Management

Support the Global Congress Strategy Lead in ensuring the global congress oncology pipeline content and related assets are maintained and evolved to showcase the breadth and depth of the DS oncology pipeline. Responsible for all congress related sponsorship marketing tactics and ensuring alignment with the global congress strategic plan and individual congress meeting priorities.

  • Responsible to ensure the global oncology pipeline content and related assets are updated regularly to align with R&D and global corporate communications approved schedule, guidance and criteria.
  • Partner with global medical to oversee all pipeline materials (MOA Videos, Clinical Trial Information, etc.)
  • Partner with regional medical & marketing to ensure all exhibit materials are aligned with congress strategy and objectives.
  • Lead the creation, approval and execution of all sponsorship corporate branded advertisements and promotional activities at global congresses.
Ensure all congress materials are global, region and/or local approved by legal and compliance authorities based on the location of the congress.

Congress Execution Management Lead

Partner with Meetings and Conventions
  • Oversee all implementation activities, communications, and budgets respectively. Activities include but not limited to: congress registration, communications, badges & congress access, housing, on-site coordination, key congress meetings (game plan & pre-con), expo suites for KEE engagements, exhibit booth logistics.
  • Lead all post congress activities including key communication follow-up, post congress survey, post congress logistic debrief, exhibit metrics and leads captured, and competitive intelligence, to realize value and continue to innovate and enhance the global oncology congress presence.
  • Responsible for key inputs into the overall congress communication plan.

Relationship Management Support

Support the Global Congress Strategy Lead in association relationship management.
  • Support all Programs & Grants Committee (PGC) sponsorship submission approvals.
Management of key components of the budget and relationships with vendor and ad agency partners

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

- Bachelor's Degree required; preferably with an emphasis in health sciences
- MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred

Experience Qualifications

- 7 or More Years in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial industry experience including established competency in global congress planning or global brand marketing required
- Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred

Travel

Ability to travel up to 35%
