About the role

The Assistant Web Producer is responsible for the production/execution of the website and other online marketing and business initiatives to ensure a superior customer experience. This role will partner with Marketing, Legal, Planning and Web Merchandising to ensure accurate execution of promotions, in-line with business objectives i.e.: sales, markdowns, new products, etc. The Assistant Web Producer owns the linking strategy for emails and website campaigns.

• Own website production for the JJ Brand to ensure that content updates are accurate and timely, setting all new collections, promotions, and related content. Create special shops and categories as well as merchandise - as needed.
• Work directly with email development team and creative teams as well as Gap, Inc. legal on all links and legal.
• Own ensuring proper customer journey is considered in the business requirements for creative updates to the website and email campaigns. Including, ensuring upload of all website assets (creative, copy, product imagery, pricing, promotions, etc.) to back-end system.
• Participate in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly business reports with commentary and actions. Specifically, own Email reporting.
• Execute all promotions and markdowns and any special web merchandising efforts connected to promos/markdowns.
• Participate with internal web creative and copy teams to concept, create and execute effective and accurate email campaigns and site creative on a daily/weekly basis.
• Execute testing strategy for site and email. Participate in QA for all site & email assets.
• Perform general site maintenance on a daily/weekly basis.
• Other responsibilities may include supporting online marketing initiatives as requested, managing merchandising efforts on the web, ad hoc analytics, etc. Continue developing expertise in reports (ex. Einstein project, email visual doc, etc.)

Who you are

• Experience with Internet technologies and web-based content publishing, production, and UI issues. Specifically, experience with Salesforce Commerce and Marketing Clouds preferred.
• Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail, problem-solving.
• Self-motivated and driven. Ability to work independently with a constant sense of ownership for the quality assurance of site.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and web-based tools like Google Docs.
• 1-2 years online experience in testing or in a web production environment preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in an Internet environment. Retail eCommerce experience a plus.
• Willingness to learn web production and release processes, including website tools and technologies.
