About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Design Team. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of related engineer or project engineer experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will be mentored by our dynamic team of professionals while supporting a range of multidisciplinary projects. Projects will span multiple markets and geographies, allowing opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.

About Our Team

Our team of Design professionals includes process engineers, project managers, program managers and business developers. Our Industrial team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast, the nation, and the world and our existing client base includes some of the largest names in the distribution, food processing and medical industries. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.

Experience and Qualifications

• PMP certification preferred or anticipated.

• 2 years of related experience in Engineering , Project Engineer or Managing Engineers

• BS in Engineering or related field.

• Understanding of industry-standard workflow for RIF and Submittal review process.

• The ability to read and understand a set of construction documents, plans, and specifications.

• Understand the necessary engineering process it takes to help start and deliver a set of Engineering plans that meet the client's scope of work.

• Proficient with relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite of Products including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and others.

• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external team members in person and on various communication platforms.

• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Assistant Project Manager II with a salary range of $65,600.00 - $98,400.00 .
