Construction Assistant Project Manager

Worcester Eisenbrandt, a historical restoration construction company, is looking for an experienced

Assistant Project Manager to work on exciting projects in

Baltimore Maryland and surrounding areas.

SUMMARY OF ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage worker schedules and effectively coordinate activities of the team;
  • Ability to read blueprints;
  • Manage take offs;
  • Maintain accurate records of all contract changes and internal contract adjustments including, but not limited to, the work orders, back charges and other instruments documenting such changes;
  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers;
  • Evaluate subcontractors and assign sub work accordingly;
  • At the direction of the Project Manager, create purchase orders consistent with the terms and conditions contained in the subcontractor bids, contract documents, according to Company policy,
  • Maintain daily logs of job sites;
  • Process request for changes;
  • Prioritize operations and make changes in operations to meet deadlines;
  • Coordinate inspections;
  • On site visits;
  • Process close out information;
  • Ensure contract requirements meet qualitative and quantitative standards;
  • Knowledge of CAD is a plus;
  • Knowledge of vector works is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Two years of experience (minimum)
  • basic knowledge of project engineering in construction
  • Clean driving record
  • construction site management experience and/or education
  • knowledge of technical terminology
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
