We are growing and looking for an Assistant Controller - Manufacturing Operations to add to our Finance team in the North America Region. This role can be located in our Burr Ridge, IL offices or any of the following US plants, Benson, MN, Fargo, ND, Grand Island, NE, Racine, WI or New Holland, PA. This is a highly visible role where you will gain the knowledge and skills to prepare you for a future Plant Site Controller or similar leadership opportunities.

  • Provide value-add Finance resources to the manufacturing plants including ad-hoc projects to address manufacturing performance
  • Assemble weekly financial status updates to identify and address issues early
  • Lead cycle counting control process, coordinating with the plants, SOX team & external auditors to maximize results
  • Develop tool to work with monthly orders to project changes in Absorption & Inventory by plant by product
  • Financial consolidations (Actuals, Forecasts), including various checks to verify alignment & accuracy
  • Develop earned hours & Inventory reports to monitor vs targets
  • Prepare legal entity reviews
  • Ad-hoc projects to address plant performance
  • Value Stream analysis
  • Participate in forecast & standard roll process & analysis from bottom-up
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce workload at plant

Annual compensation range is $88,000 - $120,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role).

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 6+ years experience in Accounting or Finance in an industrial environment
