RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking a AS400 EDI Developer in Wilmington, MA.Key Tasks:

• Working under the supervision of the Application Delivery Technical manager, partner with the business and data analysts to design, develop and maintain custom data processing programs/procedures to support data integrations and custom applications
• Developer will gather and identify system requirements for new and existing systems/applications
• Work closely with various technical resources to determine best practices and implement non-functional requirements such as process automation, exception/error handling, performance optimization and source code promotion/migration
• As a Developer, you will design and write technical specifications to support transformation initiatives and support of existing business applications
• Design and develop using specific languages as part of transformation initiatives and support of existing business applications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or any related field
• 10 years of experience as a programmer analyst or related role in supporting large data projects
• Hands-on development/support experience
• Proficiency in RPG, SQL and/or report development
• Solid relational database knowledge
• Proficiency with large data models
• A self-starter with solid interpersonal skills
• Experience with Synon2e is preferred
• Experience with other data capabilities/concepts such as master data management, data warehouse, business intelligence, and data quality tools are preferred
