This company has evolved into one of California's premier heavy civil paving, grading, underground, and infrastructure firms. Their specialization lies in handling complex road and freeway projects, including paving, grading, sanitary, storm, and water work.

Your new role

The Area Manager is responsible for the safe coordination and planning of multiple projects or a single mega project site to achieve the best economic and schedule results.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent education and experience required.
• 15+ years' experience in heavy civil construction with expanding responsibility.
• 10+ years' experience managing construction teams is required.
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.
• Demonstrated the ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
• Meets bi-monthly with project managers to assess costs, revenues, extra work reports and projections as the project progresses.
