RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Architectural Construction Project Manager in Sparks, NV.Overview:The client is looking for a self-perform Construction Manager to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. The product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines, the self-perform construction Project Manager will lead an internal self-perform group of carpenters, laborers, and operators to construct the SEMI production facility. - Door Finishing
- Equipment pads
- General conditions support
- Responsible for team of people handling material
- Managing their own material inventory system for those crews; They will receive scheduling support, but would like them to have some knowledge on scheduling
- Putting up walls and bathroom accessories, architectural fit outs
- Industrial spaces
- Tenant improvement (TI) and Office space
- Industrial/Manufacturing space is the focus
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
- Ideally 10+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects
- Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Construction Cost/Data Analysis
- General commercial experience
- System Experience: Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, general proficiency; They have an internal tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your times through challenging projects
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
- Clean environments (plus)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
