Job Summary
The Appraisal Panel Desk Support Specialist is responsible for the daily work flow of traditional and non-traditional appraisal products. The support specialist will have two main areas of focus, with cross functional training on all areas of the appraisal desk support team.
1.Panel Management: Responsible for reviewing and approving appraisers for the panel by following Flagstar's vendor selection process. Utilizing the internal system, will complete a full due diligence on the appraisers selected for Flagstar's Appraiser Panel. Will maintain up to date on changes in the industry and the process to ensure our panel is compliant and of the best quality.
2.Order Management: Responsible for aggressive management of the order assignment and follow up with appraisals ordered through Flagstar's selected appraisal panel. Assign incoming orders in a timely manner, with strong emphasis to maintain cost and service level expectations. Will be responsible for fee management of the individuals on the approved appraisal panel.
Both areas of focus will provide support to the Appraisal Panel Manager on day to day operations and special projects as assigned, and also interact with the entire Appraisal Panel Management Team.
