We are actively hiring for an Alternative Channel Distribution Manager to join our team. Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, in achieving our goals! We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals, who think big and move fast with a passion for service excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

• Help drive the development and deployment for CSAA IG's Alternative Distribution platform including all aspects including technology, people and process.

• Operational execution - assist in driving the successful end-to-end operation of the business within the channel to meet business partner expectations and customer expectations. Work with internal functions to identify changes to support each channel.

• Channel optimization - develop necessary reporting and analytics to constantly fine tune channel performance in customer-facing and agency-facing systems as well as throughout the quoting process flows to drive the desired business. Ensure external business partners and their agents are provided comprehensive training in the features and benefits of our products to obtain favorable positioning within the platform or agency.

• Competitive analysis - monitor competitor activities to ensure a competitive position and avoid adverse selection, particularly in comparative rater environments. Work with Data Science, Actuarial, Product Development & Underwriting, and State Management to analyze performance and make necessary course corrections and bring learnings back to the business.

• Business development - pursue new strategic opportunities for deploying personal lines insurance products by cultivating partnerships or other commercial relationships as well as identifying new distribution methods for our products.

• Strategy development - refine and inform where business focuses for expanded opportunities

• Account management - operate as the point of contact for business partners and nurturing business relationships to maximize the channel while ensuring overall strategic alignment.

What would make us excited about you?

• BA/BS Degree

• 7+ years of related work experience with 5+ years typically being in personal lines industry

• Management experience within the insurance industry (preferred)

• Experience with channel management, business development, or general management (preferred)

• MBA (preferred)

• CPCU certification (preferred)

• Actuarial Designation (preferred)

• Self-starter who will search for opportunities and problems and then address them

• Strong relationship, negotiation, influencing and persuasive skills

• Strategic thinker and hands-on contributor

• Demonstrated ability and passion for achieving results.

• Collaboration and teamwork with other functions at the executive and management level

• Flexibility and capacity to manage multiple demands

• Consultative leadership style; strong organizational skills, problem solving and analytical skills

In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $110,000-$129,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay.
