Responsibilities

The General Cardiothoracic Surgical Advanced Practitioner works with the Cardiothoracic Surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in coordinating and delivering patient care in a limited, non-cardiac surgical arena of the cardiothoracic surgery service. Facilitates communication between the patient and family, various hospital departments, the Nursing Service and the Medical Staff; function as a clinical expert in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Program and will practice to the fullest extent permitted under all current state and federal laws, and according to approved policies.

• Master's Degree

Experience

• Relevant Experience

Certification and Licensure

• ACLS Certification
• Any applicable board Certification
• BLS Certification
• CRNP Prescriptive Authority Commonwealth of PA
• PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License
• PA Registered Nurse License
