Responsibilities

Working as a floater and/or a substitute in mixing paint in various quantities and deliver to proper spray paint area on a daily requirement schedule. Maintain operating parameters of paint systems and record parameters per work instructions. Record paint usage per IDNR regulations. Perform paint film testing per work instructions. Adapts to new methods, processes, material, and equipment. Float in all paint functions as necessary. Maintains work area in a neat, safe and orderly condition.

  • Employee must use hands for occasional simple grasping, frequent firm grasping, and occasional fine manipulation.
  • Employee must be able to frequently bend/stoop, squat, kneel and climb.
  • Employee must be able to reach continuously and occasionally reach above the shoulders.
  • Employee must be able to move head/neck: occasional rotation, occasional extension and frequent flexion.
  • Employee must be able to communicate with other employees and management and be able to hear instructions/directives and be alert to workplace hazards.
  • Employee must be able to see near, far and with depth perception.
  • Employee must be able to work up to the maximum hours per the contract.
  • Employee is required to work in a noise filled manufacturing plant environment that can be loud.
  • Employee is required to work in a manufacturing plant environment with varying temperatures and climates.
  • Must follow daily/weekly cleaning calendar to maintain good housekeeping for safety in the work area.
  • Must perform daily maintenance care on assigned equipment.
  • Ability to run a hoist and/or overhead crane.
  • Complete & participate in quality & safety initiatives.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and follow work instructions, SOP's and OPL's.
  • Employee is required to have regular attendance and timely adhere to the set work schedule.
  • Duties may include all or a portion of, but not limited to the above. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to push/pull frequently with 40-50 pounds of force.
  • Employee must use hands for occasional simple grasping, frequent firm grasping, and occasional fine manipulation.
  • Employee must be able to frequently bend/stoop, squat, kneel and climb.
  • Employee must be able to reach continuously and occasionally reach above the shoulders.
