We are looking for a Team Lead for 1st Shift in the Finishing Department at our Bolingbrook plant.

What will you do?

• Serve as Lead for production activities for Finishing.
• Train other department team members, including temps.
• Coordinate production activities within the department
• Act as go-to person for daily questions in the department
• Serve as subject matter expert for the production machines in the department
• Relay issues and concerns to Production Manager for department.
• Review production quality control
• Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel 6S.
• Follow compliance on policies, procedures, processes, and general company information.
• Additional related responsibilities and duties may be assigned as needed.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' work experience in a manufacturing/operations Lead role.
• A customer focused team player with strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing, quality standards, and GMP.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and a service orientation.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must possess high standards of personal integrity.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Pass a drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.
